Jaystepher here today with a tutorial on how to build a cool awesome Lego slide
that is completely mini-fig friendly
for any Lego playground, school, or park.
First thing we're going to start off with is the base for our slide.
First thing we're going to start off with is the base for our slide.
Simply take a 2 by 4 plate,
Simply take a 2 by 4 plate,
flip it over,
and I'm going to use a 1 by 4 plate
on one side of this.
Take two of these hinge pieces here,
Take two of these hinge pieces here,
stick them side-by-side,
and we're going to take some 1 by 3 plates,
pace them along the sides here.
Now let's use two of these 1 by 1 plates,
Now let's use two of these 1 by 1 plates,
we're going to place them on the top here.
One on the top and one over here.
Now take a 2 by 2 smooth tile,
place it in between those.
This is something that when you slide down,
This is something that when you slide down,
you can land on the landing.
Take two of these bull nosed bricks, place them here
Take two of these bull nosed bricks, place them here
on both sides.
And finally take two 1 by 2 tiles,
place them on the studs.
And there you have it,
there's the base of the slide.
So let's start off with the slide itself.
Move that off to the side here.
Take a 4 by 8 plate
Take a 4 by 8 plate
and four of these 2 by 2 smooth tiles,
Just going to place them in the middle.
Take two of these 1 by 8s, place them on both sides.
Take two of these 1 by 8s, place them on both sides.
And to smooth it off with some 1 by 4 smooth tiles.
And to smooth it off with some 1 by 4 smooth tiles.
Now let's put the double grips.
Now let's put the double grips.
Put them at one end of the slide.
Put them at one end of the slide.
And this bar, put two of these both on both sides.
There we have it,
there's the base of the slide.
Let's start on the ladder for our slide.
Let's take a 2 by 4 plate,
flip it over.
Stick two of these double claws, double grips
Stick two of these double claws, double grips
one one side,
and a bar on this side.
and a bar on this side.
Let's make a tower for our slide.
Take a 4 by 4 plate, we're just going to place it on the top here
by flipping this over.
Take two of these fences,
Take two of these fences,
I'm just going to use black.
Put them on both sides here.
Something we can to put our ladder here
Something we can to put our ladder here
and our slide attaches here.
Take five of these 2 by 2 bricks, we're going to start stacking them one on top of one another.
This is going to be the stand for our slide.
And just drop this on top here.
And just drop this on top here.
Now let's take a ... like a gate,
Now let's take a ... like a gate,
we're going to make this into a ladder.
Slip it on our bar here.
Slip it on our bar here.
There we go, there's the tower of the slide with ladder.
There we go, there's the tower of the slide with ladder.
There we go, there's the tower of the slide with ladder.
After we have our three pieces assembled:
our landing, our slide, and tower,
we're ready to assemble it.
So I'm going to use a base plate. This is going to be like for our playground.
Take the landing part of the slide,
we're just going to put it about here.
We're going to take the slide, we're going to attach it to our landing like so.
And we're going to put our tower on here.
As long as we got eight studs here at the bottom, we're good.
Let's try it out and see if a mini-fig will go down it. so he climbs up the ladder here.
Have him sit down here.
So it's pretty fun.
Even a child mini-fig can fit on it too.

So this is a great little addition

Even Jayden McBrick wants to get on there too.
So this is a very fun creative slide
for any Lego creation.
