I'm Faisal / I'm Tirta Pane.
Meet again / With us... at Masak.TV!
Now we are going to cook a recipe from Thailand cuisine, which called... Let's see there..
Chatom Kho Thit Lon Xay.
In last episode, we have cooked 'Tomyam Kung' already.
And now we have Thailand cuisine again.
So, if you feel like ever heard about Dragon's Feet, seems similar like that…
The difference is here we have sugar cane.
The ingredients are the bondless chicken chest of course.
Then coriander leaves.
Garlic.
Sesame weed. Flour.
Sugar cane.
And sesame oil.
What will you do? / I will chop these.
It will be more look like a Lilit Satay, right? / Yes, it is.
But what is made for Lilit Satay? / Lilit Satay made of citronella leaves / Right.
Here the sesame oil.
And anyway, stick of sugar cane is easy to find, dude!
Nowadays, there are many spot providing the water of sugar cane anywhere.
I bought it in one of them.
After finishing my purchase. The sales asked me, "Bro, what do you want to buy?"
"The stick of sugar cane, bro." "Oh, you're not buying the water?". "No, I'm not."
"What is it for?". "Well, of course for cooking, bro." "You're not supposed to know the specific one anyway."
Now here we have the chicken, onion, and the sesame oil. And I still put half of the chicken because the jar is full.
Let's try...
Ok. We have to add much oil.
Then we have to drill it all, many of us here want to eat these for sure.
Is it ok to chew it originally? / It is delicious, dude
Well is it ok? / I'm not chewing, just bit it to drink the water.
Ow, i'm never try it before.
Now, we have drilled chicken with onion, coriander leaves and sesame oil.
Then spread the pepper...
Salt.
And the flour.
So, to keep our cutting board cleaned, we have to... Aah...
Sorry, Tir.
Please help me cut this, bro.
We must make oil, to become layer for our hand when we mold then.
I'm gonna prepare the frying pan.
This is the best frying pan, although it gets blacky scorched at the bottom, but never mind…
Ok. First, we have to prepare the sugar cane.
Wash our hand first.
Do i looks like pouring the ketchup?
Take oil.
We take about a spoonful, much more...
Mold in into a ball...
We take the sugar cane, put into it.
We arrange here.
I don't need to help, right? / Up to you.
Size doesn't matter, just appropriate on your favorite.
Here we use sesame oil, because if there olive oil, We will use it for our face, right?
Who do you think will do it?
Is there anyone of you guys wanna try this? / Anyone?
Here it is...
We have to put it like this, some part first, ripe the outside first then dip all the part.
I give you some tips. First, you have to make sure that it has been ripe in the outside...
Which indicated by the colour gets rather browny or golden. Then turn down the fire, so that it riped to the fullest.
Here you can see the one which had been done.
How about you are platting, while I stay to keep an eye for these? / Sure.
Ah, it's done / The truth is... it will be more tasty with Bangkok sauce / It is rather taste sour and hot.
It's done!
What is menu's name? / Chatom Kho Thit Lon Xay.
