Vertical analysis Kahn
Kahn is a German goalkeeper who has been withdrawn by the kick for some years.
Personally I think he's one of the maximum interpreters of the role at world level, and he's the subject of my analysis.
That's the fact: England was trained by Erickson, Kahn played a vital game for the qualification at the World cup of Korea 2002.
For the English the game of Munich against Germany represented a sort of last chance.
Knowing Ericksson, I thought I could make him a gift sending him my analysis on Kahn. Contemporarily I sent an article to a site web.
The whole wanted to be a preoperating demonstration that my plug-in, integrated to the software of Match analysis, worked in the reality.
This analysis was complete, it also understood the horizontal analysis and the analysis of movement.
However it was still migliorabile. In fact, with a more careful analysis, it realizes that the numerations of the areas depart from the outside toward the inside and, above all they miss the zones next to the feet, both to the right and to the left.
You can be seen it, comparing the figure used for the analysis of Kahn, with the one already published for the vertical analysis of Buffon.
The zone 3 of Kahn are all extremely insufficient; it is possible that it's the consequence of accidents but it deals with a serious lack of "mobility".
His left knee seems to have the correct mobility for which have pointed out, in the zone 16, a beautiful vote and that is 7. In reality it is a superior vote for the external part of the area 16 while insufficient for the inside part next to the feet.
Correct to explain the continuous evolution of the non linear method, actual vertical analyses are structured with further "indexes." Tomorrow I will publish an analysis which could contain non kept elements in consideration of the model now analyzed.
The tactical development of the game has been such that to Kahn they have been in demand interventions mostly contemplated in the evaluation of movement and in the horizontal evaluation. The technical gestures of the analysis that I am treating (vertical analysis) they have been a little solicited.
I'm interesting to see the behavior of Kahn's knees in occasion of the third and fourth goal by Owen, and on the fifth one of Heskey.
He was in the circle of qualification for Korea 2002. Germany and England have gone to next phase. The final is between Brazil and Germany. At 66th minute and 46 seconds a draught arrives on the feet from 25 meters.
I plunge in before of Kahn, attempt of block to the breast, ball that goes out of his taking and it goes at the center area, slightly to his left. Ronaldo is there and here's the first goal of the match.
- besides verify that non linear analyses works, if nobody in almost 20 years has succeeded "to reply", "to reproduce", "to clone" or "to imitate" my method... you can draw your conclusions.
The game for the German is finished for that goal. Kahn has been judged the best goalkeeper of the tournament. In practice my method of analysis has found a weak point on the one who has been the best player.
I invite you to look at the images of the game. I cannot publish anything for problems of copyright.
The green arrow points out the area 3.
The general evaluation is of 4
The symmetrical area, the 16, has an evaluation of 7. In reality it deals with a taller average toward the area 17 and lower toward the area 3
Recapitulating: It's true that it is a dated analysis but it has the merit to be verifiable in certain way. There are dates that confirm it.
- it is true that even young people don't know neither who Kahn is, but this doesn't remove that has been one of the best goalkeeper all over the world
