So, once you have your baby all nice and snuggled up in their swaddle, it might be a good time
for a nap. Especially considering, sometime, babies will wake up, they startle themselves
with their own movement so swaddling can be beneficial to help your baby sleep through
the night. Not for all but, again, for some it might be beneficial. So once your baby's
all swaddled nice and snug, we're going to go ahead and lay our baby down for a nap.
But one thing we need to consider first is making sure the fabric is going to be away
from his face, mouth, nose. Making sure that it's not going to get in his way and cause
any issues for his breathing in the night. And then if you lay your baby down where ever
you?re laying your baby down for a nap, you want to be sure and lay your baby face up.
Make sure your baby is face up. Again, making sure also that the cloth can't cover his face.
But you want to make sure your baby's face up because when they're in a swaddle, especially
until they've developed the motor movements of being able to roll over, you need to make
sure that they are able to just sleep and breath freely. So, if your baby is swaddled
and you?re laying them down for a nap or to go to sleep at night, make sure you lay them
face up.
