Norco is a prescription medication used for moderate to moderately severe pain.
It is a combination product that contains 2 medications: hydrocodone, an opioid analgesic,
and acetaminophen, an analgesic.
This medication comes in tablet form and is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours, as needed,
with or without food. Taking Norco with food may minimize stomach upset. The total daily
dose should not exceed 6 tablets.
Common side effects include lightheadedness, dizziness, sedation, nausea, and vomiting.
