I'm Tony Scott and I was reading the top 15 things about the early seasons of The Sopranos.
Well here's my top 5 things about The Sopranos that you may not know. Number 5, the image
of the Twin Towers were removed, starting with the fourth season. The towers showed
up in the opening credits when Michael Imperioli's name came up. After the September 11th attacks,
they were removed. Number 4, the f-word was used 437 times in season one. Tony Soprano
used it 134 times himself. In season two, the f-word was used 715 times. This is my
top five list of things you may not have known about The Sopranos. Number three, Tony Sirico
would only play Pauly Walnuts if he wasn't portrayed as a rat. It was an agreement that
he had with Sopranos creator, David Chase. On the real, Tony Sirico did do time in prison.
Number two, a don doesn't wear shorts. In season one, there was a BBQ scene at Tony
Sopranos house where Tony is clearly seen wearing shorts. A real life wise-guy told
James Gandolfini to NEVER, EVER, wear shorts again. Wise-guys continually contacted James
Gandolfini to offer praise for keeping it real. And the number one thing you may not
have known about The Sopranos, Ray Liotta was the first choice to play Tony Soprano.
Ray turned it down because he didn't want to commit to a TV series. I do wonder how
Ray would have portrayed Tony Soprano. Honorable mention goes to Sopranos creator, David Chase
wanting to use a different song to open the show with. HBO said stick with one and in
the spirit of compromise, I guess, a different song was used to end each episode. That's
my top five things you may not have known about the Sopranos. How many of these did
you know? Leave a comment below and don't forget to like this video and subscribing
