News from TV Midt-west in the new studio, good evening and wellcome
The outside it looks like an ordinary caravan
But inside that you can join up flying
Direct from Herning we shall now out and fly The cockpit we can see here is a DC-9 flight simulator
It was built by a former aircraft technician, but fuselage is not what one normally associates with aviation.
It resembles in every way a real cockpit
but there are very few pilots in 10000 feet, which can do this.
It is in this caravan I have chosen to build my flight simulator
"We're coming in for landing, and in 10 minutes we land in Eagle Vail"
Countless hours have Claus Nørgaard used to build this classic DC-9 aircraft
The simulator is partly built from original aircraft DC-9 parts and scrap computers
Is this not a bit "nerdy"
There are probably a little nerd in me.
Should we open a window, it's geting hot in here.
The adults who come here are impressed with everything technical
However, the children who come in here are extremely impressed that it is a flying caravan
But there is still Claus himself as spend the most time in the caravan
Sometimes, I come here right after supper and then only finished at 23:30
So, there missing only just a stewardess
I've tried to call on the button a few times, but there is no stewardess coming
Yes ... It's just for fun, but the details still have to be in order
Although it is a low cost airline, then airline food must be okay
In fact, Claus is not quite finished building
Sometimes I manage to get original parts which then has to be rebuilt so that it works on a computer
As it looks now there is still some work to do
So maybe the next project will be a jumbojet in a autocamper
No... I think I'll stick to this one project i have here
It's probably not so bad when you can now see Sinding from his caravan DC-9
Claus has just had his simulator to Sinding town festival,
here was flown more than 60 flights
And that was the end of the news .........................................
