hello everyone is Kim Kunkel owner and designer
over at easydigital.com I just wanted to show you guys a quick tip
today
I was going through some my photos and I ran across this picture I took
to February of my mom we were at Death Valley one of the things that just
jump out at me was this part of her jacket
is much larger than she really is because sometimes clothes can
malfunction and they make us look larger than we really are
and I just wanted to do a quick fix on it and I thought I may as well so you
guys
well
so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to come up here to my
lasso tool and I'm just gonna draw a circle
around this area that I want to change and I'm in the press controlled
J and make a new layer with just that area so if I press
the my little eyeball you can see that I have that on a new layer
I have set up a short cut myself or
the warp tool because I like to use it so much which is control+comma
and that just makes a come up so if you want to know more about how to create
your own shortcuts
leave a comment below can all make a tutorial on that or you can just find
another tutorial on it online somewhere I'm sure
the way that you're gonna do if your gonna go to edit> transform
>warp in this photo I want her leg
to remain where it is so I'm going to come up to this little thing here and
am i click on this little dot and that anchors
that little area up my square so
I'm basically just going to actuall i'm just going to zoom in on this
so I'll go back to my warp tool okay so I'm just basically gonna push this
over right from the Middle just to make it look
more like how she really looks you now yeah
and i'm going to push this zipper back up just because I can
makes it a lot easier if its setup so
that's it i press and her who just gonna come in
and sometimes the easiest way to see where your edges are
this is just add a stroke and tells me exactly where my edges are
if I might have something that I wanna fix add a mask
in the areas that my
look like their cut right right here
I can just mask them off or I can come back to warp again
and pushed this up just a little bit which gives me last post processing on
the
mask Press enter and I can see a little bit
have a transition here so I've got my blacks selected
and I'm just going to to work on these little
areas that might show I could turn back
on my stroke to see where my lines would be
oops use
maybe a little right come over to my mask
a little right there I think the transition is pretty good
I don't see a lot of lines anywhere else maybe a little right there
just making that smooth and you can do this
with skin jackets whatever if somebody's turned
that makes them look a little bit heavier than they really are or even if
you know you just want to get rid of an area this is the best way to do it
some people use that liquify tool
and now is good in some cases but I like this one
for this case view it on screen
now lets do our before and after
so I think she's gonna like that much better
and she thought she looked like a fifty starlet so I went ahead and added kinda
this
kind of pink haze affect on it
and I'm sure she'll think she looks fabulous so
