Dangers of Vaccines
A growing controversy in our present day in age is the choice getting or not
getting vaccinations. Possibly the most common and scrutinized of vaccinations is the flu
shot. While the majority of healthcare providers and government would like to lead people to
believe it is safe and effective, this is far from the truth. While popular belief is
a vaccination can strengthen the immune system, research has proven that it actually destroys
antibodies that prevent an individual from getting sick. Building immunity through natural
methods prove long term to be more beneficial in maintaining good health.
There is no scientific evidence available that proves that the flu shot even prevents
a person from getting sick. Why then do we subject ourselves to injecting chemicals into
our bodies that even have the remote possibility of doing harm? Why put levels of mercury,
aluminum, or other harmful substances in our bodies if it does not need to be there? That
is just a few examples of ingredients found in the flu shot. Other vaccines contain ingredients
such as aborted fetus blood, animal blood, and many other unnatural substances.
In fairness to healthcare providers, it is estimated that less then 10 percent of overall
vaccine injuries are reported according to NVIC.org However, it is the responsibility
of research to be administer shots that likely would not have adverse reactions for anyone.
As the public has become more aware of dangers associated with vaccines, the healthcare profession
has made extra effort to keep injuries and death information private to avoid legal problems.
According to rense.com, 10,000 kids per year that receive vaccinations will have reactions.
That is 10,000 too many. Children do not have the free will to make decisions for themselves.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of parents to make efforts to be informed before turning
over control to the medical field. There is no reason a child should suffer due to negligence.
Choosing to ignore the happenings of this issue does not alleviate the problem. In certain
circumstances, elderly people also do not have the opportunity to decide for themselves.
This is very dangerous as well, because as an individual gets older their immune system
tends to weaken like that of a child. Just like in the case of children, it is a legal
guardians responsibility to make the best decision in the case of their loved one or
person they take care of. Although children and the elderly are more
susceptible to reactions, vaccines do not discriminate. I myself have suffered from
vaccine injury that caused a slew of issues. That is why I am so passionate about this
particular subject. Anybody at any age is subject to having issues, and many are not
aware of it. I firmly believe that it is our responsibility as American citizens to improve
upon not only this issue, but improve our entire healthcare system. It may not be an
easy task, but in the long term it is very worthwhile. As opposed to anxiety that comes from second guessing doctors,
medical care should be accurate enough to
gain trust from the American society.
