You're ready? -Yup! -Let's do this!
-No. I'm just kidding. Let's do it!
-Go to your CryENGINE3 root folder...
...and then Tools, open that. Then you have these files.
-CryExport.
Now, bare in mind that you have two versions of these files.
The 64-bit version and the 32-bit version.
The only difference between those two is that on the 64-bit version it's says right on the title-64. The 32-bit version doesn't have that.
-Yeah!
Then we have 3ds Max 2013, so we will use CryExport15_64-bit version.
-Yeah!
-Copy that and then...
-Where you wanna copy that?
-Just copy that file...
-Where?
-To your 3ds Max folder...
In our case 3ds max 2013.
Then find the plugins folder...
...and inside plugins folder, right-click and paste.
-Ok, now that you done that...what do we do next?
-Go back to Tools folder.
-Ok..
-Then SettingsMgr.
-And double-click, of course.
-You can right-click and open.
-Oh, ok, yeah... -Yeah, but... -I'm dumb! -Yeah! It's the same.
Then it should automatically locate your CryENGINE3 root folder, but.. - If it doesn't.. - Yeah, just click Scan for builds. - Yeah!
And then locate it for yourself. -Yeah! - Yeah, CryENGINE3 Free SDK...
Here it is! - Ok..
-Now, select the root folder, not those subfolders. -Ok, yeah!
-Yeah, and then Select, and... -That's it. -That's it. -That should be it, right?
When you done all that...let's see...
...yeah, again, Tools folder. -Ok...
And then... -CryMax. -Crymax. Yeah!
Open that, and then LoadCryMaxTools.
-Ok...
-Left-click, copy...
...and then go back to the 3ds Max folder.
-Ok, yeah!
Then find scripts folder. Here it is!
And then Startup.
And in the Startup folder, right-click, paste...
-There we go!
-And you're ready!
Now, all you need to do is launch Autodesk 3ds Max.
-64-bit, again...We are using that. If you do have 32-bit system on your PC, then you should use 32-bit.
-That's ok!
Let's see what's going to happen?
-Ok, it's starting up, starting...
-Excuse me!
-Three hours later...
-We are dead.
-Oh, c'mon!
Ok, it's opened!
-It's opened!
-Oh, look at that! -Yeah!
You should see CryMaxTools here.
-It should appear if you done everything... -Probably, right? -Yeah.
Go to Utilities and then click Configure Button Sets. -Alright...
-Yeah, and at Total Buttons add - one more...
-So, ten.
and press Ok.
Then you'll see free space. -Free space, yeah!
A bar that is free.
-Yeah, then go back to... -Configure Buttons Sets
-Yeah! -Yeah!
-And at the Utilities, scroll down and find...Crytek Tools - CryENGINE.
And then at, here at the right side, scroll down, and put it there. Just drag it.
-Yeah, that's easy.
-And then Ok. -Click Ok.
Here it is!
Now...
-What else?
-I think that's pretty much it. -That's it?
-Da.
-For today's tutorial.
-DA!
-Ok, so...let me just say...
