Hi, I'm Nancy Frensley. I'm the training manager at the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society, and
I'm going to talk a little bit about keeping a Miniature Pinscher, otherwise known as a
MinPin as a pet. I think...the first thing is they're delightful. But, a lot of people
get them because they're small, and think that they're going to be a really, really
easy dog. And in terms of coat care, they are. Their coat is very easy, it just needs
a little slicking down every day. They need to be kept warm in cold weather, but personality
wise, there's a lot of dog in that little body. They're fast moving. They're highly
intelligent, and so they need a good leadership program, and they also need.....I'm sorry.
Okay, starting over. They need a good leadership program, and they need, really, a lot of obedience
training to make sure that you can catch them when you need to.
