Clarion CZ300 and CZ500 CD receivers make it easy to enjoy music in your car. They're
especially great for iPod and iPhone users. These receivers sound great and they look
pretty cool too. Let's take a closer look.
We've got the CZ500 installed in the car, but let's talk about the CZ300 first. We'll
get into what the CZ500 adds in just a moment. Cosmetically the CZ300 is almost identical,
but with a single-line display. You can see that Clarion has gone with clean, black lines.
Simple, rather than flashy.
You can connect your iPod or iPhone and browse your music library using the stereo's controls.
This gives you the best possible sound and keeps your player's battery charged while
you're driving. Clarion gives you great tools to tweak your tone. You can dial in precise
adjustments with the 3-band parametric equalizer. If you're adding subs, a built-in low-pass
filter lets you keep your speakers running efficiently by sending them the frequencies
they were designed to handle.
Now let's take a look at the CZ500. The CZ500 adds built-in Bluetooth so you can make hands-free
calls or even stream music if your device supports it. Clarion includes and external
microphone so your callers can hear you loud and clear. Another great feature is the two-line
display. The additional line lets you see more song information.
You'll get dedicated front, rear and sub outputs, which gives you more flexibility when you
build a system. The outputs also step up the voltage to 4 volts, sending a cleaner signal
to your amps and subs.
