Hi, I'm Mark Harris. According to my business cards, I'm the team leader for Product Intelligence here at Optics Planet.
This is the SureFire AZ2.
You might be able to call the A to Z because it pretty much covers
anything you're gonna need in a hand-held light.
It has two settings: initial push will give you a 35 lumen output,
also a wider
flood so you can use this without blinding yourself if you are looking into some kind of
container, a box, purse for the ladies;
second push will give you a 150 lumen light. It's
also going to be more focused toward a target.
That will let you use this in a tactical application.
I'm sure many of the viewers are familiar with the Harries flashlight technique
used by law enforcement.
SureFire has a feature on this light to light a use that's called the SureFire
flashlight technique.
There's a rubber bezel on this that allows you to hold it between your
first two fingers like a syringe.
SureFire recommends you use this with the two fingers paralleling
the gun. So you can use it in
such manner.
They claim this is much better because with the Harries technique, and
somebody's not very familiar with it, you can actually draw the gun and then cross in
front of the gun with the Harries technique. With the SureFire technique, you
never go in front of the muzzle. The gun and the hands just come together on the side.
This light comes with a very nice lanyard
that hooks in. Also, if you'd like to use the SureFire
V85A
holster for this light,
it carries it bezel down so, when you go to
draw the light,
you're in position to use it immediately.
Very well made product,
very small, very tough, comes with a couple 123A batteries.
You can get everything that you need to use this right out of the box.
This, again, is SureFire AZ2. Thanks for watching.
