Snowden?s Father Heads to Russia, Urges son not to accept plea deal with U.S. authorities
I?m Christopher Greene and you?re watching AMTV, ALTERNATIVE MEDIA TELEVISION.
NSA leaker Edward Snowden?s father will head to Russia along with constitutional attorney
and Ron Paul alum Bruce Fein to visit his son. They did not disclose specifically when
they would depart but said they had secured visas necessary to make the trip. Lon Snowden
has indicated that he is disappointed with the President?s handling of his son?s case
and does not believe he would receive a fair trial in the United States. At this point,
Lon would not accept a plea deal for his son?s extradition to the United States he says and
?Where my son chooses to live the rest of his life is going to be his decision.?
Regarding a plea deal, Lon Snowden says ?I?m not open to it, and that?s what I?ll share
with my son.? Regarding President Obama?s remark on Friday that his son is ?not a patriot,?
Snowden?s father took a defiant stance. ?My son has spoken the truth, he has sacrificed
more than even the president of the United States,? ever has he argued.
Arizona senator John McCain chimed in over the weekend, ?Young American?s admire Snowden?
because they see him as ?some kind of Jason Bourne.? Really Senator, Snowden is Jason
Bourne? So that means the U.S. government is actively trying to *** Edward Snowden?
McCain says ?A deep distrust of government has led young Americans to hold up NSA leaker
Edward Snowden as a hero.? Damn straight. What do you think? Is Edward Snowden a hero?
Is he a real life Jason Bourne? AMTV subscriber cmt comments ?America is not
the American government. Snowden may have betrayed Obama and his loyalist [thugs]; but
he is a hero to the American people who hate tyranny. Americans, who love the federal government
more than their Constitution, are in the wrong country and need to leave [immediately]. Federal
propaganda does not make what they say or do right.
Joe Greene chimes in ?The kid should be pardoned. He played referee - sacrificing his own life
- to call attention to a government using a technology that basically enables them to
identify the entire [phone] contact sphere of anyone who might challenge the Masons version
of a perfect world.? P.oed says ?Snowden is a hero...nuff said.?
It appears that not only are Americans becoming more distrusting of their government, they?re
actually fleeing the Country in droves. According to a recent article posted in the Wall Street
Journal, American citizen renunciations are soaring. Globally, more U.S. citizens have
renounced their U.S. citizenship in the first and second quarters of this year than all
of 2012 combined, and 2013 is already on track to become a record year. A growing number
of wealthy Americans in Asia for example, are exploring the possibility of whether to
renounce their U.S. citizenship in order to avoid onerous tax obligations and a growing
surveillance state. Eugene Chow, an immigration attorney to wealthy
Americans says ?"When I became an immigration lawyer 30 years ago, people really were excited
about going to America. Now, more than half of my clients are people thinking of other
alternatives rather than people seeking to immigrate to America." Land of the free?
A total of 1,130 names appeared on the latest list of renunciations from the Internal Revenue
Service, according to Andrew Mitchel, a tax attorney who tracks the data. That is far
above the previous high of 679, set in the first quarter, and more than were reported
in all of 2012 combined. Looks like more Americans are leaving the
United States for good, especially wealthy ones afraid of excessive taxation without
representation. It seems Edward Snowden isn?t the only one seeking asylum in a foreign country.
Land of the free? Maybe not anymore. I?m Christopher Greene and you?re watching
