This is Fieger’s Law.
Hi – I’m Geoff Fieger.
Every time people start talking about gun control, they start talkin’ about their
Constitutional Rights to bear arms.
Well here’s a novel thought. Maybe we should be looking at the Constitution as a document
that needs to be brought up to the times in which we live.
After all, our forefathers were thinking about the right to carry a musket to protect ourselves,
or to hunt wild animals, or at the very least fend off the British.
That’s a whole lot different than having the right to buy and carry automatic weapons
that fire as many as 100 bullets at a time without as much as an in-depth background
check.
And, while we’re at it, NRA, why don’t we have the right to bear surface-to-air missiles
also and anti-tank bazooka’s. Why stop there – how about thermonuclear weapons?
Remember, if you don’t stand for something, you end up standing for nothing.
Fieger Law.
