Car Life Blog JP ! Today, I will talk about ride quality difference by manufacturer.
When you drive for a while, ride quality concerns us.
about ride quality, each manufacturer have individual characteristics.
Some people exclude the option of specific manufacturer because of the ride quality. It's important thing.
I'm usually driving compact cars of Toyota, Nissan, Honda. So I will talk about these 3 makers.
See next slide.
Nissan and Honda have low center of gravity.
Toyota and Nissan have soft suspension.
while drive slowly, soft suspension provide very well ride.
It has a mild response to bumps.
But it inverts in a high speed area.
slow following responses generate instability.
This is a reference, with which you can select cars that match your car life, especially average speed.
For example, Toyota is better suited for lower average speed, go to shopping near by your place.
Honda is for better suited for high average speed car life.
I'll find out by my foot.
1st, Toyota, high center of gravity and soft ride ..., is it like this?
Yeah, I can walk softly!
but it's scary in some situations. for example climb down stairs!
Next, Nissan, without standing on tiptoe, soft quality is same.
It's comfortable.
It's no problem to climb down stairs. but maybe it's scary when you walk faster.
Next, Honda, I take a barefoot walk.
This is very stable.
But bump of ground is painful.
Hopefully, I want to walk on flat ground.
I hope you enjoy this program.
sometime soon, I will compare compact cars, so I'd like to think of them again.
