Hey there, I am Jessica with Paper Mart (www.papermart.com).
I am going to show you some tips and tricks on wrapping a gift box.
that is going to make your life a little easier.
Let me show you first of all, some of the options that we have here at Paper Mart (www.papermart.com) in terms of wrapping paper.
We actually stock over ten thousand different styles including beautiful solid papers, polka dots, and stripes.
It is really awesome. And they are all high quality papers.
Let me just tell you guys some tricks first when picking your papers.
One of the most difficult patterns to work with is a striped.
It can make it hard to line up the pattern and fold those edges just right to make everything symmetrical.
If you are looking for something easier, I would suggest going with one of our polka dot prints. These are really great.
And the smaller the print, like this red one, the less noticeable.
And going with a solid takes all of that out completely,
so it is kind of a no brainer.
And then you can play with some of our fun embellishments like our feathers and ribbon that we have.
So let me show you what I choose for our gift wrap today.
And I will show you what you need to get started.
Your gift. I have this gift box that I have already picked out for us.
And then the wrapping paper I have choosen is this really beautiful wrapping paper called Flora Mist.
I love the sheen on the gift wrap that is even on the leaves too.
You will also need tape, and scissors so we can cut our paper to the length we need.
This is the coolest tape dispenser you've ever seen.
This is like a toy to me, but it basically pre-cuts tape pieces that are about an inch.
When you are wrapping, it makes it really easy.
When you are wrapping, you can just pull a piece of tape off really quickly when you need it. Brilliant, right?
Okay, so we got our tools.
I have already cut our piece of wrapping paper here to the length that we need.
When we are measuring out before we cut the gift paper,
we want to make sure that our gift wrap will cover the entire box when our gift wrap is folded, and then cut accordingly.
I am going to go ahead and get started with this.
Okay, so I fold this gift wrap flap over
and this one on top of the other flap from the other side.
I am going to make this more even. Because I like the gift wrap centered.
Use our trusted tape dispenser.
I love any tool that makes my job easier, so this is really great.
For our other sides of the gift box, we are just going to go ahead and fold the flaps down.
We are going to take these tabs and flatten them out here. And then we will just bring those in.
Once we do that we just bring up our flap here
and we go back to our trusty tape dispenser to help us out.
Put a couple of pieces of tape there to secure the gift box.
I'm going to repeat the same step for the other side.
One of the great things about all of our Paper Mart (www.papermart.com) quality premium wrapping papers
is that you can't see the gift through the paper.
It drives me crazy when you are wrapping a gift or you receive a gift, and you can see the gift through the paper.
That totally defeats the purpose of the wrapping paper!
We actually specify the thickness of all of our gift papers
so you can tell before you even buy it. If you are worried about the gifts showing through,
I would suggest using one of our embossed gift papers or our foil wrapping papers.
Okay, so I'm finished.
There we have are beautiful Floral Mist wrapped gift
and I am going to top it off with one of our awesome Paper Mart (www.papermart.com) bows.
I have choosen one of our magic pull bows.
I already cut the ribbon off the ribbon spool for the right size.
The way this works is that you are just going to pull the ribbon part in the center.
This is why it is called a pull bow. We are just going to go ahead and pull it all together.
There we go. Now we have a nice beautiful pull bow. I love these.
We have so many different ribbons and bows to choose from at Paper Mart (www.papermart.com).
A lot of different styles and in fact over four thousand.
We are actually the largest discount distributor of ribbons and bows in the country. So you are not short on choices.
So I have tied the ribbon strings together. Secure your gift bow to your wrapped gift by tying the tails on the back.
I am going to cut this ribbon down. It is very long.
Okay, one more time. I am going to put it up in the corner because I like it there.
And now there we go. We have a beautifully wrapped gift.
I hope this really was helpful for you guys.
I know it is always nice to have some tips on gift wrapping because we do it a lot.
Make sure you check out all the other great papers and bows that we have on our website at papermart.com.
Thanks for watching.
