I've just had the privilege of spending three hours drinking coffee with a 7 figure copywriter.á
By using the right words alone, he has brought in millions of pounds worth of income for
both himself and his clients. And in those three hours, he not only gave
me many great new ideas but also reminded me of something important.
And that's we can't do it all.... You see, I know a thing or two about marketing.
And I help my clients get better results by making changes to their copy, improving headlines,
adding benefits, working with emotions, etc. But I'm not a world class copy writer and
I was just humbled by the simple brilliance of some of the stuff he showed me.
And it reminded me that we are not all experts in everything.
We all try to do too much stuff that we are not necessarily very good at, and should outsource
to others. Stuff that costs us more in time to do, than
would have done if we'd paid someone to do it for usů.
I know my core expertise is web video and making websites that work for your business
- not brochure sites but membership and lead generation sites that get results.
And that's what I try to spend my time doing.
So just think, what's your core expertise? How much of your time is spent doing the things
that you're not so good at?á The things that you really should outsource.
So to finish; if you are spending too much time on the bits of your businesses you're
not so good at, then my call to action for today is to find the right person to help;
and instead just concentrate on the stuff that makes you money.
