The most common cause of motorcycle crashes today is when a vehicle makes a
left hand turn directly in front of the path of a motorcycle.
Why does this happen? Because cars aren't typically looking out for motorcyclists,
they're looking out for other cars, they're looking out for other trucks. And in Missouri, you
typically don't see motorcycles year-round so there's a couple of months, or a few
months span, when motorcycles are prevalent on the roadway, and drivers just aren't
looking out for them.
