Hi I'm Cathie Heart of CathieGraphy I run a photography and design services business
mainly arounding .. arounding? Around branding and identity and this is the 30 day YouTube
business challenge where 30 women around the world are all sharing our tips and tricks
for you guys at home watching. To be advised about and learn form and go from there.
So, over the last few days I've been doing the 6W series, which is the foundation for
how I live my life. The 6Ws are Who, What, Where, When, Why & How. So, we've done a few
already and todays question is: Why?
Why will folks buy your product or service? This relates to an earlier question in the
series about what your product is. Depending on what you product is, is why people will
buy. Because its about the value or service that you are offering. Depending on the value
is what you'll be able to charge, which is another question for later.
Why, is one of the most powerful question you can ask. Purely because it looks at the
assumptions and factors you've made about why you are doing something. It's a common
question of two year old, its the way we figure out how something works, why we do it, what
it is we want to do and all of these kinds of things. There is no series of guidelines
questions of 'why' I can give you. Literally take it as something that when you make an
assumption, why did you make that assumption? Why .. what are the factors that have gone
into making that and make them known. Write them down. Literally make it concious decision
and understand why it is you are doing what you're doing.
Yup, that's it for today. Write down a couple of paragraphs about Why you are doing what
you're doing, what you hope to achieve about it, who its for and why all of those things
are you choices for what you're doing. If you write it on my blog or my youtube channel
I'll be interacting with you there and if you make it public people can also chip in
their own advice and tips and tricks as well.
