Erik: What have you found most challenging about handing off responsibility to others?
James: Delegating, it's a challenge I think for a lot of people, and whether it is in
the context of practicing law, where as a more senior lawyer, you know how to do things,
but at the same time you know that the more junior lawyers need to learn how to do it,
so you have an obligation and a responsibility to ensure that they do learn how to do it,
even though you could do it faster. In my current set of circumstances, you know, being
in a position to delegate client needs, and ensure that they get serviced by the recruiters
that we have as such instrumental members of our team, but ensuring and trusting that
based on what they've demonstrated to date that they can continue to do it and replicate
their successes with prior clients with ease. So I think it ultimately boils down to trust.
