In this next clip, I'm going to show you how to take care of your brushes properly. It's
really important to clean your brushes after every use, because it's going to make it last
a lot longer. So the first way that I'm going to show you to take care of your brushes is
by spraying a little bit of brush cleanser on a paper towel, and then brushing it back
and forth until all the color comes off. And almost every line of makeup has a, a brush
cleanser, so you can find them for all different types of prices. I really like this Japonesque
one, because it's really strips all the color off the brush, and it has an orange scent,
so it leaves the brushes smelling pretty good. So after all the color comes off you're going
to want to dry flat. Just lay your brush down and let it dry flat, because if you don't
then sometimes the moisture can drip down to the ferrule of the brush, and actually
break the bristles. About once a month you're going to want to shampoo your brushes. So
just use a little small amount of shampoo, and then take your brush, and run it back
and forth on your hand, and get that shampoo worked in there, and then you're going to
want to rinse it thoroughly. Then you're going to want to squeeze out that excess water,
and dry flat. So I still have a little extra shampoo on my hand, so I'm going to take my
brush and run it back and forth, and it you can use any kind of hair shampoo that you
would use on yourself. You want to really treat your brushes like you treat your hair,
and that way it'll last a lot longer.
