Yo, what's up. I'm about to teach you all the kip up. You've seen this move in all your
favorite kung fu flicks, straight up, and your favorite BBoy does it all the time. I'm
going to show you the simplified version, just the regular kip up with our hands, nothing
crazy. You need your hands in this. You need your hands to push really hard, really really
hard.
Check it out. We're down here. This is our seat, but we're going to lay back on our back.
We're going to be crunched in as much as we can. We're going to crunch ourselves in like
that on our backs. Check it out.
So, here we go. Here, like this, alright, so I'm like all the way on top of my shoulders.
I can feel myself on my spine. I'm really high. My arms are in. My legs are crunched
in.
First, we're going to practice kicking our legs. So, kick. We're going to kick, but we
want to kick at an angle. So kick like that. We want to kick a lot harder. Alright, so
here, kick.
Now we're going to use our hands. Our hands are going to push with all our might like,
get off me son. We're going to push really hard. So, ready. We're here, kick. We're going
to kick really hard with our feet. It's very, very crucial. You kick hard with your feet,
and your hands at the same time. If you don't push up hard enough with your hands you're
just going to lay there. You could probably do it without hands, but that's more advanced.
So, you ready? I'm ready. You ready? Check it out. Here, we're going to push our feet
all the way up, boom, fast and at the same time, get off me son.
Ready? Here. Push. Okay, we land.
Kip up. How you like me now, son?
