I don’t really see much of a difference between better living through chemistry and
better living through engineering. And I’m not quite sure why everyone has such a great
fear of nanotechnology. But when it comes to improving the human condition, anything
is worth a shot. Everything has to start with clinical trials and obviously there are going
to be some setbacks, some unfortunate side effects, but it’s worth trying. I think
that if I had a chronically depressed condition and I wasn’t able to solve it through any
of the chemical means that are available now, nor through any psychological or therapeutic
means…I think this is worth going for. I think this is worth a shot.
