Guess where we are going today?
Tadaaaam! We're going to Budapest, to the Roxette concert.
I thought you could come with me.
Debrecen - Train station
Do you know the situation when you directly sit far so noone bothers you...and then everyone comes and sits where you are?
Look how far I sat down...there are the other people waiting.
And I am sitting here, so noone interrupts me. Of course a couple had to come here and start smooching for half an hour...I was "really" happy about it.
So...we are going to Budapest.
I'm a kid from the countryside, so it's always a big deal to travel to Budapest. Although to be honest I'm not really fond of our capital city.
But every good concert is there, so...one has to go there.
And...I thought I would film the journey.
This channel will be about my travels by the way.
I'm planning on going to Korea in July and I would definately like to make videos about that.
[train station announcer disrupts my speech] As usual... :S
I'm planning on going there...and I'll be spending a month in Budapest in August.
And because I'm not in Budapest a lot, I thought I'd see the sights and film them.
Now I'm only taking my digital camera with me,
But next time I'll bring my camcorder and those videos will be of better quality.
OK, so...we are waiting for the...train. I almost said 'bus', because I'm not used to travelling by train a lot.
I don't like the way the sky looks...
...and here it is...of course you can't bring an umbrella to the concert...
Ferihegy I. Airport
How do you know you're getting close to Budapest? From the graffities...:)
As a child I was always mesmerized by the fact that people in Budapest can draw on walls :)))
Budapest - Western Railway Station
The model agency where I was on a course before :)
Supporting act: Renata Tolvay (Sorry for the bad sound quality!)
So I've arrived home since then.
But I didn't have enough space on my camera, so I can only talk about the whole experience...and I was in a rush yesterday anyway, so...
I wouldn't have had time to talk about the concert.
So...The concert started at 8 pm. in the Papp László Sportaréna.
And the supporting act was Renáta Tolvay who is the winner of a singing contest in Hungary.
I actually didn't watch that competition at all, so when I saw her on stage I was like: "Oh hurray, noone is interested in this..."
And apart from her new song she just sang covers, like Moulin Rouge, Beyonce songs.
But I was pleasantly surprised, because she really had a good voice live.
But we weren't a really enthusiastic crowd...I was constantly watching one of the dancers.
Although she was showing off, maybe I'm just jealous because she had a really nice figure and beautiful long hair.
So she gave a 30 minute show. And afterwards the Roxette concert started at 9 pm.
I wasn't really happy about this, because I was in a hurry after the concert, since I'm not from Budapest...
I was supposed to go home with the first train, which leaves at 3 am in the morning.
And until then I didn't have any place to go to, most of the pubs close at 1 am. So I was supposed to spend the night in the Western Railway Station.
But in the end I've met a high school classmate before the concert and she offered me to stay at her place, so after the concert I was there for 1,5 hours and I only went to the station afterwards.
To be continued...
