[Raw Food Diet For Hot Summer Days]
One great way to clean up your diet in summer is to cut down on sugar. As your sugar consumption
increases, so does the size of your waist, not to mention it put at a greater risk for
diseases like diabetes. So rid your kitchen of anything that is added sugars. We are talking
about things like high fructose corn syrup, evaporated cane juice, dextrose and other
sweeteners. And you also want to watch out for hidden sweeteners. The second thing you
can do to increase your energy levels this summer is to go raw. It takes more calories
to digest raw food and because it takes longer to eat raw food, you actually give your brain
time to register the fullness, so you don't end up overeating. So add more raw veggies
to your food. Top chicken or fish with some vegetable salsa. Make pasta al_dente with
fresh tomatoes and other raw veggies. Add veggies to your sandwiches, add shredded carrots,
make smoothies, have salads. There are amazing number of ways in which you can enjoy raw
