Expert Villagers, let me remind you, too. I forgot to mention; I want to squeeze it
in fast; Mad magazines. Did you know that the first Mad magazine was actually a comic
book called Panic, which is a fascinating fact. Aren't you glad you know that? I'd like
to wrap it up, and remind you that I'm Jan; Expert Villagers, and I'm your happy antiquer;
your fun, fun, fun antiquer, and I'm the person that does appraisals, and has a large antique
mall in Pomona; called Antique Avenue, where we will determine for you if there is trash
or treasure in your possession. I'd like to also tell you that I write columns for the
Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, and about six or seven other newspapers. It's called the
treasure hunter. I give tip like this all the time, so see if I'm in your city, because
you can write me letters, too. Find that column, and you can write me or email me. It's really
a great source. What we went over today was the whole notion of comics, collecting, care,
and grading. Grading, and the care of your comic books is what retains the value, so
I can't stress enough how important it is to have the right supplies. Keep them in a
nice cool storage area, don't let them brown or get damp, and you'll have a phenomenal
collection.
