Why couldn't the farmers pay amortization?
that's because they are made to shoulder all the expenses in the farm
because there's no government subsidy for farmers and farm workers
During Macapagal-Arroyo's term,
CARP was extended
it became CARPER
or Republic Act 9700
supposedly to complete the 1.03 million hectares of still undistributed lands to farmers
On this day, June 10, 2013
it has been 25 years of sham CARP and CARPER
an extension of the bogus agrarian system is being plotted
the longest, most expensive, most brutal, and bloodiest land reform in history
isn't it that the government did not do anything?
because only the interests of the Cojuangco-Aquino
and the captalists are being served
the "righteous path", the so-called "change", CARP and CARPER
are but an illusion of the Aquino government
Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program
meaning to say, the government would have a "comprehensive" agrarian reform
yet it never was
it was not felt by the farmers and farm workers
Would it be "comprehensive" without farm subsidy
Would it be "comprehensive" if, until now, the land is not distributed to farmers?
Would it be "comprehensive" if all they offer are stock distribution option
and CLOA (Certificate of Land Ownership and Acquisition)
are given for distribution and not land
You don't call that a "comprehensive" agrarian reform program
but tomfoolery and deception
There had been 15 presidents
and 11 agrarian reform laws have been made
but poverty persists and even worsened
as well as repression
There are many kids like me
have experienced displacement and discrimination
children who were forced to work at a tender age
children who cannot go to school
and have nothing to eat
Enough of oppression!
Enough of the deprivation of our rights!
Enough of foolery and deception on farmers and farm workers!
Enough of CARP, CARPER, and Cha-Cha (Charter Change)!
It's time to implement genuine agrarian reform
Enact the Genuine Agrarian Reform Bill or GARB
The GARB is an initial step
in the decades-old land problem
The GARB initiates justice for the Filipino people
Genuine land reform
and national industrialization
with a perspective towards socialism
is the only solution
for true and real change
and to smash semifeudalism in the Philippines
CARP is 25 years old
Enough, it's already too much
Junk the bogus and anti-farmer CARP!
Implement the free distribution of land now!
Forge ahead Filipino people!
(Justine, we salute you!)
