attachments and simply right-click and Copy to SharePoint. You can select a list
from your favourite locations, or browse the security trimmed SharePoint tree hierarchy. If you’re not exactly sure where the site library or
list is within SharePoint – you can simply perform a search.
I’ll perform a search for Contoso and here you can see the Contoso site and the task list within Contoso.
Upon selecting the task list, I can now complete all the metadata and save the files to SharePoint.
Let’s have a look at the results I can open the new list item containing the
attachments we have just saved.

When creating new or replying to existing emails, the Insert from SharePoint provides an efficient way to select files to reference as links
or include as attachments. You have the same powerful navigation tree with favourite locations you’ve seen in the browse and save to
SharePoint process for locating content. When inserting links, the Document ID is used to form the URL. This helps maintain valid links if
content is moved as part of your records management strategy
If you are sending email externally, you can add attachments. In the event you have a file on the network drive or your including an attachment
from another email, you can be prompted to save the file into SharePoint and replace it with a link. This saves sending large attachment
around the network. You can send & Save the email or simply use the standard send button. OnePlaceMail can be
enabled to prompt the user to save the email into SharePoint when sending.
OnePlaceMail exposes the full power of SharePoint search directly within Microsoft Outlook. This again helps end user engagement
with the SharePoint platform while working within the familiar surroundings of Microsoft Outlook. You can define and publish one or
more SharePoint search locations such as the Intranet and Project sites within your environment and make these available to users
