My name is Ronnie Moore. I suffer from bipolar.
I have arthritis and osteoarthritis in my leg,
that's why I can't do a full time job.
That's why I've come to WISE disability employment agency.
I ended up coming thanks to a referral from Centrelink. I ended up being referred to WISE.
I can't find fault with WISE
I found an advertisement in the newspaper, the Northcote Leader.
It said WISE Employment and I knew where it was so I just went up there
and I met Christine and she went through all the procedures and all that.
Then I talked to her about what kind of work I wanted.
She's not only got me working and everything else,
she's like a new friend. She's someone I can confide in and everything else,
so she is very good.
I was with quite a few other employment agencies and I couldn't get jobs.
So I have been unemployed for about seven years.
I've been on a disability support pension for seven or eight years.
There's just too many people and you just feel like you don't have a chance to
to get a job.
Just atmosphere and the work itself.
And the people around, rather than sitting at home talking to the television or the radio
you've got somebody to talk to during the day.
So it all counts that way too.
It is enjoyable because I get out for four hours
otherwise I would be at home for four hours or doing something else for four hours
and it's just a lot better for me to be doing something than to be at home for that long.
It boosts my confidence a little bit.
Thanks to finding this job here at Brunswick
I feel like I'm capable of anything to be honest.
