Hey, I am Shawna Coronado reporting from my front yard.
That is right.
I am having an e-waste recycling extravaganza myself and you can do it too.
Landfills collect toxic material and then it costs money for all of we tax payers to
pay for the processing of chemicals and run-off that comes off of those landfills.
So a great way to help your community and help the earth is to have a recycling extravaganza
all on your own.
And you can do it yourself.
It is really easy.
What you do is you call up a local computer recycling company and you have them come out
on a certain date to collect.
You get everyone together in your neighborhood, your community, the school – I sent emails
to everybody.
And what happens is you get a giant mountain of e-waste, electronic waste, and then great
people like this come, collect it, keep it out of the landfills and you will be making
a difference.
