I want to show you a trick for perfect tinking, which means unkitting. So what I'm doing is
shoving a very thin needle through the plies of the stitch that's there now and then, as
I withdraw it (the existing stitch), the underlying stitch is left perfectly on the needle without any ply-splitting.
So, I'm splitting the plies of the EXISTING thread, uh, the existing yarn that's there now
but when I withdraw it (the existing yarn) the underlying stitch is not split. So, I just shove it (the needle)
in any old way through the existing, pull out the existing, and you can see that the,
uh stitch is left behind. One last time: shove it in through the plies, withdraw, and there
it is, perfect. And that is all.
