Every building that we currently have is
community-style, double-loaded corridors.
Which mean that you have bedrooms going down a hallway
with bathrooms in the center.
And so one of the things that we really needed to do, was to
diversify the stock that we have of the types of housing
here on campus.
This is going to be a suite-style hall.
There will be a living area and a kitchenette area.
And then, every unit has either two bedrooms that are
shared-- that are double bedrooms--
or four bedrooms that are individual bedrooms.
So you have the option of privacy or, if you want a
little more affordability, you can live in one of the
two-bedroom units and share that space.
Each floor also has small study nooks.
There's an interior room with hanging bike racks.
We are excited about what we're calling an Iron Chef
kitchen that will give students a chance to come down
and-- in group settings--
do more gourmet-style cooking.
It's so exciting because it offers the
best of both worlds.
Right in the center of campus.
Right next to the new science building.
You get the privacy of apartment-style living, but
you're still in a residential facility, so that community
development that you get in campus housing is there.
