So what did you think of the play?
Great. Loved it. Really moving.
What is the message you took away from Ga Ting?
I think it's important for people to communicate, and for all of us to accept people for who
they are.
What did you think of the play?
I thought the play was excellent. Very moving. It touched on a lot of important issues. I
was actually involved in the workshop. Minh Ly did a great job.
What did you take away from it? As a message?
I think it dealt with a lot of universal themes like family, acceptance and love. So it was
a great play.
I was moved. I laughed. There were so many funny parts, and then you turn around and
you have this feeling in your throat like this, the whole time. It was a very powerful
play. Everybody in the room can feel it.
And what kind of message did you take away from it?
The main message I took away was that how a person shows their love is unique to that
person. And sometimes in families and relationships, it's a little bit tricky to find out what
that other person's love language is. And sometimes there can be conflict, but love
comes in all shapes and forms.
What did you think of the surtitles?
I don't speak Chinese. I really appreciated the surtitles. I loved them because it allowed
us to see the two worlds operating at the same time. So there were different dynamics
happening, so it really added to the experience. I thought they were great.
So what did you think of the play?
Humourous. Very humourous. The acting. BC Lee can act!
