So now, you have your juggling club, you have, or hope you have multiple juggling clubs.
You know how to juggle three balls very well, and you want to learn how to juggle three
clubs. Now, what we need to do first, is train yourself to think about the spin. The spin
of clubs is very important. It's a whole new dimension of juggling that you really need
to take into account, when you're juggling clubs. The basic throw, with clubs, is very
similar to that with balls, except when you hold the club, you want to hold it about half
way down the handle, and when you throw it, you want it to be a very natural throw. So,
you're going to throw from your elbow, and let it spin once, and catch with your other
hand. Now, getting the spin right, is pretty hard at first. A lot of times you might spin
too much, like that. Or, you might not spin enough, all these different things can happen.
What I want you to think about at first, to get the right spin height, along with your
throw, or the right spin, is I want you to think about how high you're throwing it. So,
if you throw naturally, from your elbow, the club will naturally have a certain amount
of spin. It'll spin a certain speed, just like that. You hold your wrist steady. Don't
flick it with your wrist, hold your wrist steady. Just throw from the elbow, it'll spin
like this. And then, if you throw higher, it'll spin more, throw low, it'll spin less.
So, at first, I want you to think about controlling the height, and leaving the spin where it
is. And you want to try and get this one club going back and forth, left to right. Cleanly,
just like you learned how to juggle three balls, but with a club.
