Sir, I realize that your reason for visiting my urgent care today was "your nose feels
stuffy." But, after examining you and your chart, I have determined that the REAL problem
is: you are in congestive heart failure, probably because your diabetes is out of control. Also,
your swollen legs have developed an infection! I am very concerned.
So. What does that mean?
It means that I want to admit you to the hospital before your heart totally gives up.
But… what about my stuffy nose?
(sigh)
I hate being stuffy.
