Hi, my name is Liam Trump, Business Development Executive at PRO-Partnership
And welcome to another PRO-Partnership Top Tips Video
In today's episode, we are talking about the rules and requirements for obtaining a work
permit
If you're a female ex-pat in Qatar, sponsored by a family member such as your husband or
father, you are legally permitted to work provided that you have a work permit with
the company.
In order to apply for a work permit, the following documents of the proposed employee are required
to be provided.
Firstly, an existing Qatar ID Secondly, the legalised, notarised and attested
education certificates translated into Arabic Thirdly, an attested police clearance certificate
from the home country of the proposed employee
And Lastly, a No Objection Certificate "NOC" is required from the sponsoring family member.
An additional benefit of having a work permit with the company is that your employment contract
will then be legally attested and filed with the Ministry of Administrative Development,
Labour and Social Affairs and you will be protected by Qatar Labour Law.
