Kelly Ripa's co-host revealed, Jillian Michaels returns to The Biggest Loser, and Hollywood
mourns the passing of Michael Clarke Duncan. I'm Alex and it's all coming up in today's
Reel TV News. Sadly, Academy Award nominee Michael Clarke
Duncan passed away Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical, where he was being treated for a
heart attack. Duncan, who was only 54, is best known for his work in the Green Mile,
Armageddon, The Finder, and for being Hollywood's gentle giant. Our hearts go out to his friends
and family. The year-long wait is over for fans of 'Live!
With Kelly', as Miss Ripa's new co-host officially kicked off his new gig this morning. Former
New York Giants athlete Michael Strahan is the lucky guy chosen to replace Regis Philbin,
beating out rumored front-runners Jerry O'Connell and Nick Lachey. Tune in to "Live! with Kelly
and Michael" weekdays on ABC to watch the new duo in action.
Good news for viewers of The Biggest Loser! NBC has announced that fitness expert Jillian
Michaels will be returning to the show when the series starts up again this January. And
that's not all – Jillian hopes to target child obesity during the upcoming 14th season
by adding teenage participants into the mix as well as the usual adult contestants. Be
sure to track The Biggest Loser on SideReel so you don't miss the action, and check back
with us for more TV scoop.
