My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
James' Closing words: Chapter 5 verses 19 & 20
Attention all you who have wandered away
For those who now claim the magnificent Name
Allow me to turn you to James' closing words
Listen brother, dear soul, what has happened to you?
you once beamed with His light, you once walked in the truth
Do you see how far you have fallen behind?
of course you can not, you are poor, naked and blind
Come home! Come home! The LORD is waiting.
He takes no pleasure in your discipline and death.
Lean not on your own understanding
Just trust the Shepherd's way, your refuge and your strength
Come home. Come home.
The Spirit is calling, but you're plugging your ears
Your constant rebellion has brought Him to tears
"Come back! Come home." is your Savior's instruction Ignore Him, and it's your own destruction
Come home! Come home! The LORD is waiting.
He takes no pleasure in your discipline and death.
Lean not on your own understanding
Just trust the Shepherd's way, your refuge and your strength.
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion and slow to anger.
But how shall we who died to sin continue to live again for things that killed our Savior?
Come home! Come home! The LORD is waiting.
He takes no pleasure in your discipline and death.
Lean not on your own understanding Just trust the Shepherd's way Your refuge and your strength
Come home. Come home.
