It's one of the most anticipated game titles of all time and now it's been released.
Yes that's right Destiny is finally here.
After five years, with more than 500 people working on it, the Sci-Fi game was released
at midnight in London and fans traded in sleeping to get their hands on it.
Because I queue up, I was lining up for 30 hours, without any sleep, so I'm kind of collapsing
right now.
Destiny is thought to be the most expensive video game to have ever been made and the
studio behind it was given a budget bigger than many Hollywood blockbusters after the
success of its earlier Halo games.
The largest US video game publisher, Activision, invested a staggering $500 million into the
shared-world shooter game, and they reckon it's going to be pretty popular.
It's a persistent, online, shared world where every Guardian that you come across is a gamer,
and you can play in many different modes, whichever way suits you at that moment in
time, so to have that sort of experience where you pick up and play and go and decide what
you want to do, where you want to go, go with your friends, go on your own, go with people
that you'd never met before, I think it's just going to be fantastic.
Destiny is the most pre-ordered new video game Intellectual Property in history and
has won over 180 awards and nominations.
