Hi there, Gen Nelson here, Executive Director of the Kokoda Track Foundation.
Over the past few days, we've once again received reports of severe flooding
across the Oro Province in PNG.
Many communities have been affected, houses washed away,
and schools destroyed.
Once again, one of the most urgent issues facing villages is that their
food gardens are currently underwater
and their crops are being destroyed as we speak.
All of these villages rely upon their food gardens and subsistence farming
and these recent floods are again threatening lives and futures.
Over the next week, the Kokoda Track Foundation is responding to the floods
with emergency food distribution to the villages that were the worst-hit.
Then over the following weeks and months
we will work with these villages and help them to restart their food gardens
and rebuild their schools destroyed by the floods.
But to do this we need your help.
Please make a tax-deductible donation to the Kokoda Track Foundation today.
and help us lend a hand to our nearest neighbors.
