PRESIDENT RAINES GOT A CHANCE TO THANK MANY OF THE FACULTY AND STAFF WHO CONTRIBUTE TO
OUR UNIVERSITY ON A DAILY BASIS AT HER RETIREMENT RECEPTION. AND WITH THE SPRING SEMESTER WRAPPING
UP, STUDENTS SHARED SOME OF THEIR BEST STUDY TIPS FOR FINALS. I have found that comparing
notes with fellow classmates can be one of the most helpful study tips ever, also getting
a good night's rest. Make a little chart of what you should be doing each day and try
and follow that as best as possible. Procrastination is a killer, the sooner you nip that in the
bud, the better you can do and the less stress you will have on yourself when you are studying.
Don't wait until the last minute and also read over your notes constantly. Get rid of
all the distractions, your cell phones, turn them off, stay off social network because
that takes up a whole lot of time. Just get away, find yourself a nice quiet spot, and
just plan a time to get away to that spot once a week and just hammer it down, get it
over with. Turn off your Xbox because you are just going to play black ops forever.
FOR THE U OF M MINUTE, I AM DIXON WILLIAMS, JUNIOR, MARKETING MAJOR.
