Hi, I'm Mike Lais, and on behalf of Expert Village, this is "Tensions on Piano". The
Major 13, 1st Inversion. This, again, is the chord flipped upside down and the 1st inversion
we're going to start off on the 3rd of the chord, and then spell it with the remaining
notes. So, we've got here, we're going to keep the chord of "C", and we're going to
play the "C" Major 13, which is again, 1, 3, 5, and then we call that 13, right there.
And we're going to take it here, and we're just going to want the 3rd on the bottom.
So we take the root, throw it on top. So we've got 3, 5, 13, (which looks like a 6), and
we have 1, okay? That's going to give you your Major 13, 1st Inversion, 3, 5, 13, 1.
