Today's reflection is taken from the First Letter to Timothy, Christ came into the world to save sinners.
This phrase is one that particularly inspire my priesthood and my service to the Church.
I did not come to church to close the door on anyone, I came to the Church
or God called me to church and I became a priest, that I precisely through the Ministry,
the sinner could offer the tools necessary for their salvation.
From there I just do not understand that many people who accompanied me throughout my life as a priest,
there are people seeking to make the Church a kind of private club, which moved by the Hansenismo of old,
seek to only those who according to his criteria of purity can come to God,
denying the human reconciliation with the Great Mystery that is God, because it is not pure,
but who told you that bunch of fools who stand in the different churches to say
that you can not approach God because you do this, you are that, who gave them such authority?,
God can they tie his hands?, can they deny God the ability to love a being
who he seeks and wants to love God?, I do not want to get in deep water here,
but I can say that me and many of my sheep, thank God, I move that deep sense that God is here to save me.
I, as a sinner, I find in God the Way, the Truth and the Life, I need your love,
I need your mercy, I did not come here to be part of a club, I came here was to save me.
May almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit descend over you, your family and jobs.
May the Lord protect and be with you forever. Amen
