Hi guys and welcome back to Hair with Hollie on Videojug.
So today I am practicing a hair style on myself and I am going to show you how to do this
braided summer pony tail.
So it is such an easy look to do and it looks quite special.
It is something a bit more than a pony tail and it looks really good especially on day
two when your hair is a little dirty.

Ok, so we are going to start our first part and we are going to section the hair.
We are going to have a plat here, and a plat here and the middle of it we are just going
to leave as a quiff.
So we are going to split the hair into three sections depending on how big you want your
plats.
I am just going to do a normal size quiff, and just going to get that out of the way
with a claw.
So to work on the plat its just a standard french plat.
Going to take this hair and work off it. Just as normal, start it off the front.
Start off three sections and just start plaiting backward.
Over and under and pick up sections of hair from the top and from the bottom.
So all the time you are working towards the back of the head
until you come to the end, and then just pop a clamp on the end.
So this step is done and I am going to do the exact same thing on the other side.
Again I am just going to keep going until I reach the back of my ears and then start
platting backwards.
Again picking up hair from the top and bottom sections as you go.
So if you want you can plat this as well but I am going to backcomb a little bit since
I want a quiff.
Just going to work a bit of volume into this so it doesn't look too flat.
If you have bangs or a frame you can pull them back or try and incorporate those into
the plait whatever you would like.
So once you're happy with the size of your quiff just pop your little curvy curve in
it.
I am just going to pull it back into a pony tail and just pop this on it.
So once you have the pony up what I am going to do now is take a section from the bottom
of the pony tail then plait it up and wrap it around.
So I have taken a big enough section from the bottom and I am going to split it into
three and I am just going to plait.
Once you plaited the hair I am going to pop a clip into it and easy breezy just wrap it
around so it covers the bobbin.
When you come to the end just have a clip ready to pin it in place.
What I am going to do now is back comb it through the lance just to make it a bit bigger.
So if you do have straight hair it would be worth throwing some curls in just so you get
more of a textured look.
So I am going to finish this look off with a lot of hairspray just to keep everything
in place.
So there you have it guys it is so quick and easy and just looks a little bit special too
So thanks for watching the last episode of Hair With Hollie series three. Hopefully I
will be back soon to show you more gorgeous hair styles! Bye
