Now we're going to go with some Burnt Umber behind the wing. I've already put in some
we're going to put in some more and you want to leave some gaps that will make it look
like feathers back here. K and then we can go darker in some of this area up here just
with some blotting. And you want to do this sort of wet and wet, that means that the,
you have to have wet color underneath it. K now we're going to go back with a stronger
version of Burnt Sienna, pick up a little bit of red and we're going to start from the
bottom of the wing and work our way up. You notice this flipping motion so it's pulling
off the page and it's sort of a dry brush technique where the wing is going to work.
Then you're going to work that in there and see? It's starting to look like feathers at
this point and then we can put a few more Burnt Sienna's in here.
