Hi, everyone.
I really want to thank those, who watched and gave feedback on my state of channel video.
The support was just amazing.
Everyone was just wonderful in their feedback. And, I was overwhelmed and very honored that
everyone felt that they could leave honest and open feedback. Which I appreciate more
than you could imagine. And, I do thank everyone for there comments and feedback.
And, pretty much everyone, said, that making two you tube community videos a week, was
a great idea. A lot of people liked the idea of mentioning older videos. Like as in a way
back Wednesday or a throwback Thursday.
So, I'll start doing that. I'll do two, one on Mondays and the other one on Thursdays.
I'm thinking around 7 or 8 p.m. my time.
Some people expressed concern about me doing two videos a week. I'm sure I can handle it,
and I'm going to give it my all. And, when you're doing what you love. You want to do
more of it. So, I really don't mind.
I really feel it's best for me to just keep doing the Monday show, just like it is. And,
for my Thursday video. That's where I'll add the shout outs for the older videos.
As far as promoting viral videos like Ray William Johnson, the feedback on that was,
No, don't do it! Viral videos already have too many views and people aren't interesting
in them, anyway.
Let the news or the media promote viral videos and that I should keep on promoting the you
tube community like I have been. And, to stay true what I'm doing now. To which I thought
was really awesome advice.
The you tube community and the smaller you tubers, do need the promotion to help their
channels grow.
Also someone asked me, if I had thought about doing interviews videos with featuring my
fellow you tubers.
And, I have thought about it many, many times. And, I'd love too, if my fellow you tubers
want to be interviewed by me.
Pre-recorded, edited interview videos, are much easier to do.
As, I know everyone is on different time zones and everyone has different schedules. So,
I'd much rather just E-mail someone some questions, and let them record themselves answering them
in a video and I'd edit everything together.
As far as live interviews goes. Those are a lot tricker to do.
I'd still want the person I'd be interviewing to know what questions, I'd ask ahead of time.
This way they can think about what to say. Rather then, catching them unawares and on
the spot. Or, if they found a question to personal or they preferred not to talk about it. I just wouldn't ask it.
I've been interviewed both ways, myself. And, I know for sure, I enjoyed much, much, more
when I knew the questions ahead of time and then recorded myself answering them. And,
let someone else edit everything together.
And, as for live interviews. I'll just come right out and say it. I hate google plus.
It's the most awkward visually looking chat room, I ever seen in my life.
I do like live interviews where you can see both people at the same time, the one asking
the questions and the one answering the questions. It makes for a much better interview.
But, I honestly don't know, if my fellow you tubers, would want to be interviewed.
And, if there is a demand for it. I'll do it but, not right now. I want to get used
to doing two you tube community news videos a week, first.
I guess, I could start off with edited interviews and maybe work my way up to live interviews.
But, I said, I really hate google plus.
Thanks so much for watching
and once again, take care.
