This one goes out to all the homeowners getting their house ready for the market -
maybe doing some remodel work. And I know a lot of my agents have one of these, and
that is, the GoPro. Let's Keep It Reel!
[pause] There are so many things that you can do with
a GoPro camera, and I use it in my real estate photography business, but check out
the way that I figured out how to use it at home.
I was doing some remodel work and I didn't have anybody to try and figure out what
switches, when I was turning them off in the breaker box, were affecting which lights.
Because I needed to remove a specific circuit from a wall that I was demoing. Take a look
at how I used the GoPro to help me out when nobody else was around.
Here is the electrical line that I need to take out. You can see here that I have been
demoing this particular wall, so I need to remove that electrical line. So right now
what I did was I plugged in a scentsy thing, I just needed some visible light. And right
to the left of it, you can see my GoPro monitoring that light. Let's see what it looks
like from the iPhone. So this is what the GoPro sees. Once the scentsy
light turns off, I know I've hit the right switch in the breaker box.
Using the WiFi capability of the GoPro to be
able to monitor what I was looking at through my iPhone was a great way to be able to be
outside on the other side of the house, and watch what was happening inside.
Thanks for watching!
