We have here the Phase One 645DF camera with the standard 80mm focal plane lens.
Now i would like to describe how we switch from the focal plane to the Leaf shutter.
So first of all, lets take off the 80mm lens that we have.
And the leaf shutter lens has a symbol one it - The symbol is a leaf shutter, so it is quite clear what it is for...
The mount is exactly the same, alligning the white dot, lets put it on there - We are on now ...
Everything works the same way it does with the focal plane shutter, except now it is leaf shutter ...
My front dial is still my shutter speed, my back dial is still my aperture, all my buttons work the same way...
Manual and Autofocus is the same...
My shutter goes now up to 1/1600th of a second!
However, i have some custom functions in the camera that allow after 1600/s to automatic go to focal plane shutter.
So the camera system can be set to only leaf shutter where the limit is 1/1600 or to focal plane for faster speeds (1/4000s).
So basicly switching to leaf shutter from focal plane shutter is just a matter of changing the lens!
