This type of collar is called a Pilgrim collar. I think that maybe if you're doing something
very Avant-garde in your designs and with your collection, this could work to juxtapose
against something that's real edgy. It can make the whole look be like a balance of opposing
forces. But a Pilgrim collar, is a Pilgrim collar, is a Pilgrim collar. We just expect
it to be black and white. He should have some sort of turkey in his hand and a cornucopia
overflowing with fruit. Because it's so stereotypical and we've all been exposed to this as far
as like fourth grade history class as a Pilgrim collar. So, if you're wanting a challenge,
which I'm not even going to try. Take a Pilgrim collar and make something totally different
out of it. Maybe we will try. OK. Let's say we have our Pilgrim collar. Ugly and boring
as ever. And we want to make it into a top of some sort. And let's say, ah, we can add,
this will be the shoulder that's cut out so you would see skin. And then it goes around
the arms. Like that maybe? That gives it kind of a *** feel with the Pilgrim collar.
So, anything's possible.
